Sometimes I think I'll just wait and show glimpses of my studio and office once it is all clean and put together. But I'm realizing art is just always a bit messy. A studio has its own standard of clean. Some things are just used more often than others so they are left out. I have pictures printed out, from the printer on the other side of the room, that showcase my color inspiration, which I have been finding on Pinterest lately. My easel doesn't always hold a canvas but this little area, by the window, is my painting spot and I love it :)
Just a glimpse into were I paint abstract artwork and capture special moments that make unique gifts.

Soft-spun polyester blend makes these throw pillows great for indoor and out, plus there are two size options to choose from. Soft-touch woven blankets are here to keep you warm for fall!
The illustrated design style was created for two reasons. The first was to combine my love for both traditional and digital art. The second was to create some meaningful pieces of art for my husband for our second anniversary. We had a few photographs that were full of precious memories that I wanted to make extra special, a piece of personal art for our home. When I gave him the custom portraits, he got a little teary eyed...which isn't something that comes naturally for a 10 year Navy Veteran.
Custom portraits give you that extra special piece of art that captures your favorite memories. Do you have an old unused frame laying around? How about using it with a smaller canvas as shown above? This idea adds style and dimension all on it's own. I love how the shadows and depth add character and you can use any type of frame available. This one I painted black to match the other frames in my house. It goes well with our canvas wrap prints.
Personalize your home by transforming your favorite photographs into custom portrait! Capturing a special moment in a unique way can make a thoughtful gift that will be treasured forever and shows how much you value them. You all know Mike Rowe, the television host right? I was excited to see his show Returning The Favor that features t-shirst that I designed! The Women Roofers of Forest City, NC have a special way of reaching the community. I had the privilege of updating their logo for their anniversary and designing their shirts. I love their dedication and fun characters!
