I consider myself blessed to enjoy my day job as much as I do. Getting a Word document full of text and turning it into something that people want to stop and look at is exciting to me. Some of my work has been seen in different parts of the world, including China and Africa. Some have even been seen at the White House. I have a particular fondness for small businesses and non-profits. I’ve been in the graphic design business for over a decade working with various industries and non-profits. 1) I’ve never worked with a Graphic Designer before. How does it work?
Once initial contact is made we will have a phone call, or correspond through email, to go over the details of your project. Each item will be taken into consideration. Once a contract is signed I will proceed to design proof(s) and send for initial review. After that, a round of edits are made, if needed, and then your project is finished. Depending on the project I will either give you final working files and/or send files directly to the printer to be printed. 2) How does payment work? Once an estimate is agreed upon and contract is signed 50% of the project cost is expected up front. The remaining balance is due at delivery of final files/completion of project. 3) Will you assist with the printing process? Yes! I’ve been in the design business for over a decade. I can work directly with the printer so you don’t have to. I can even give direction of some of my favorite printers if you don’t already have one selected. |
4) How many revisions do I get?
I understand that you may want to make tweaks and seeing a new design may spark new ideas that you may not have thought of, or you may simply not like what you thought you would like. The number of revisions depends on the project but a general idea would be 3-5 if needed. Additional revisions can be made at an hourly rate. 5) What can I expect for a turnaround time? Timely feedback and sending any needed deliverables in a timely fashion is important to your project deadline. Open communication is important! I will be open with you about my current work load. Your deadline is very important to me and I will work with you to make sure everything is in place in a timely manner. 6) When can we get started? Depending on current work load I like to start new projects off as soon as initial details are in place and contract is signed. |
